Making a world one word at a time

My First book was about a group of friends, a whale, shark and dolphin. All my illustrations where most definitely Lisa Frank inspired, I doubt purple dolphins and neon yellow sharks really exist. I've alwats told stories and most of them I write down. It wasn't until a few years ago when I was telling my partner about my writing did I really start taking it seriously. At the time. I was only writing 'when the creativity hit me.' or whenI had the perfect tea and peppermint chocolate at my side. After I had told them they looked and me and said "if you really want to take it seriously, then take it serious." I realized then I was just dabbling in writing, but not actually committed to it. After that I changed my entire routine. Now I'm on my second novel, keeping up with my day job and running an etsy shop.
